Talaud is an Austronesian language spoken on the Talaud Islands north of Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Consonants edit

  • /tʃ/ can be heard as a palatal stop [c], depending on the dialect.
  • The velar fricative sound /ɣ/ may also be pronounced as voiceless [x].[2]
