2006 New Year Honours

The New Year Honours 2006 in some Commonwealth realms were announced (on 31 December 2005) in the United Kingdom,[1] New Zealand,[2] Grenada,[3] the Solomon Islands,[4] Tuvalu,[5] Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,[6] Belize,[7] and Saint Christopher and Nevis[8] to celebrate the year past and mark the beginning of 2006.

The recipients of honours are displayed here as they were styled before their new honour, and arranged firstly by the country whose ministers advised the Queen on the appointments, then by honour, with classes (Knight, Knight Grand Cross, etc.) and then divisions (Military, Civil, etc.) as appropriate.
