Iryna Uladzimiraŭna Shymanovich (Belarusian: Ірына Ўладзіміраўна Шымановіч; Russian: Ирина Владимировна Шиманович, romanizedIrina Vladimirovna Shimanovich; born 30 June 1997[1]) is a Belarusian tennis player.

Shymanovich has won one doubles title on the WTA Tour and one doubles title on the WTA Challenger Tour. She has also won 13 singles and 13 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 11 September 2023, she peaked at career high of world No. 66 in the WTA doubles rankings. On 12 June 2023, she reached her best singles ranking of No. 154.

At the 2013 Wimbledon Championships, she finished runner-up in girls' doubles with Anhelina Kalinina.[2]

Fed Cup edit

On 4 February 2014, she made her debut for the Belarus Fed Cup team,[3] winning her first international rubber with Ilona Kremen in doubles against the team of Turkey.[4][5]

Professional career edit

2023: Tour title, major debuts in singles & doubles, top 100 in doubles edit

At the 2023 Copa Colsanitas, she reached her first WTA Tour doubles final and won the match alongside Irina Khromacheva.[6] She made her top 100 debut in the doubles rankings on 10 April 2023, at world No. 94, and her top 200 debut in the singles rankings, on 3 April 2023.

Ranked No. 214, she qualified into the main draw for her major debut at the French Open[7] and won her first match in a GrandSlam tournament defeating Panna Udvardy. As a result, she reached the top 155 in the rankings. At the same tournament, she also made her major debut in doubles, with Brazilian Ingrid Martins.

On her debut in doubles at the 2023 Wimbledon Championships, she reached the quarterfinals with Oksana Kalashnikova.
