Ahmedpur is a town in Latur district of Maharashtra state of India.[5] Ahmedpur is 66 kms away from district headquarter Latur. Ahmedpur is the third largest city in Latur district .

Mahatma Gandhi College & Yeshwant Vidyalaya are the two foremost popular education centers in Ahmedpur.
However, quality of education here & Ahmedpur's popularity as good education center has decreased a lot.
