2017–18 in German football

The 2017–18 season was the 108th season of competitive football in Germany.

Promotion and relegation edit

Pre-season edit

^ 1860 Munich was relegated to the 2017–18 Regionalliga Bayern due to not being able to obtain a license for the 2017–18 3. Liga, sparing SC Paderborn from relegation from the 2016–17 3. Liga.

Post-season edit

^ The 2. Frauen-Bundesliga was restructured for the following season, changing from two divisions to one.
