Nezamshahr (Persian: نظام شهر, also Romanized as Nez̧āmshahr, Naz̧mshahr, Nizāmshahr; formerly, Nezamabad (Persian: نظام آباد)^[3] also Romanized as Nez̧āmābād, Naz̧mābād, Nizāmābād)^[4] is a city in, and the capital of, Rud Ab District of Narmashir County, Kerman province, Iran.^[5] It also serves as the administrative center for Rud Ab-e Sharqi Rural District.^[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,757 in 465 households, when it was in Bam County.^[7] The following census in 2011 counted 2,049 people in 537 households,^[8] by which time the city had been separated from the county in the establishment of Narmashir County.^[9] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,426 people in 743 households.^[2]
