Raghunathpur subdivision is a subdivision of the Purulia district in the state of West Bengal, India.

History
Purulia district was divided into four subdivisions, viz., Purulia Sadar, Manbazar, Jhalda and Raghunathpur, with effect from 6 April 2017, as per Order No. 100-AR/P/2R-2/1999 dated 30 March 2017 issued by the Government of West Bengal, in the Kolkata Gazette dated 30 March 2017.[1]

The census towns are: Adra, Kantaranguri, Lapara, Saltor, Hijuli, Par Beliya, Santaldih Power Project Town, Kanki, Dubra, Chapari, Shankara, Arra, Nabagram and Murulia. The subdivision has its headquarters at Raghunathpur.[5][6]

- Raghunathpur–II block: Barrah, Joradih, Nildih, Cheliama, Mangalda–Mautore and Nutandih.
- Neturia block: Bhamuria, Guniara, Raibandh, Sarbari, Digha, Janardandih and Saltore.

- Kashipur Michael Madhusudhan Mahavidyalaya was established in 2000 at Kashipur.[12]
- Panchakot Mahavidyalaya was established in 2001 at Sarbari.[13]
- Santaldih College was established in 2008 at Usir, PO Chatarmahul.[14]
