Plot
The film begins with Pundarika Ranganadhudu who misconstrues acts of Lord Krishna which curveballs him from childhood. Years roll by, and Ranga turns into a tomcat that perturbs his parents and requests him to knit. Anyhow, he has deaf ears, quits, and backs after 6 months when his parents conduct a ritual but no modification in his attitude. Plus, he entices a prostitute Amurtha and spends a frolic time with her. Now the story shifts to Lord Krishna along with his 8 wives deciding to divert his dark path via an advent devotee Lakshmi. So, Krishna appears in Lakshmi’s dream and orders her to espouse Ranga. Accordingly, she proceeds therein, but Ranga refuses the proposal and she strikes at the front lawn. Hence, Krishna makes a play through Amurtha who insists Ranga to nuptial Lakshmi which he follows. Soon after the wedding, Ranga neglects Lakshmi and steals her gold for Amurtha. Being cognizant of it, Krishna is concerned about the couple, he set rights for their martial life in disguise of Amurtha.
Consequently, Ranga stops his visit to Amurtha which begrudges her. Like this, she ploys and summons him announcing her dire state. Whereat, she toxics him which makes him violent and grabs his wealth. After landing at home his family carries out a prayer on the arrival of Dhanyanand Swamy that aggravates his anger and he throws his parents & Lakshmi out. Following that, Amurtha confiscates Ranga’s property when he challenges her to get more glorious beauties than her. In that hunt, he reaches the ashram of Sage Kukkuta and sets his sight on the three river goddesses Ganga, Yamuna, & Saraswati who are passing removing their impurities of sinners. Ranga attempts to catch hold of them, and they abscond. He enters the ashram where he views Kukkuta serving his parents whom Ranga kicks off. As a result, Ranga losses his limbs and Kukkuta proclaims the only remedy for it is the forgiveness of his parents who cannot exceed any infinite spirit. Here, Ranga grounds at his parents by crawling and pleads pardon after soul-searching when he recoups his legs.
Therefrom, Ranga is actively involved in serving his parents. At that point, Krishna appears and calls him but does not rotate as he is blissfully immersed in praying to his parents. Moreover, he asks him to wait and the deity takes up the idol form. Parallelly, Lakshmi is in an ailing position and wants to view the lord one last time but she is hindered by temple authorities. Thus, Ranga rushes to her and opens the temple doors with his devotional power when Lakshmi leaves her breath regarding the god. As of now, the wives of Krishna accuse him of the deed and command to make Lakshmi alive when he accepts provided Ranga requests to do so. Meanwhile, Ranga learns about the transformation of the lord into an idol by Kukkuta who is upset for committing a grave sin. At once, he moves and bows his head down before the idol when the Lord shows up one that preaches him his true form. Next, the two walks to the 8 wives and desire to ask for the boon. At last, Ranga seeks it, that said not retrieving Lakshmi but merging himself with him. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note, with Krishna delightfully giving salvation to Ranga, touching down the earth and the place adorning at Pandharpur Maharashtra till today.
