Netaji Subhas University of Technology

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), formerly known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India. In 2018, the institute was granted university status, changing its name to Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).[3][4]

Main campus

The primary campus of NSUT is a fully residential campus on 149.5 acres of land.[5] Campus facilities include faculty and staff residences, student hostels, cooperative mess and a sports complex. The campus is divided into clusters of buildings. The administrative block contains important offices, banks, a post office, and an auditorium where major functions are held.[6] The campus has four boys' hostels (one for each year) and three girls' hostels.[7]

East campus

The East campus is located in Geeta Colony.[8]

West campus

The West campus is located in Jaffarpur Kalan.[8]

Student life

Cultural and non-academic activities

The university hosts its annual cultural fest, Moksha, established in 2003. The four-day extravaganza takes place every March, attracting over 25,000 participants and featuring 150 engaging events. Renowned artists from the music industry grace the NSUT campus during the festival, making it one of the biggest cultural fests in North India. Moksha continues to evolve, becoming a cherished tradition eagerly anticipated by students and visitors alike.

Innovision is NSUT's annual techno-managerial fest, evolving from a technological event in 2002. Now, a two-day extravaganza with 50 diverse events, it attracts around 4000 participants. Guest personalities like Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and the famous bike group, Black Pistons, have graced the stage, making it an unforgettable experience for students. Felicity - The Music Night, combined with a dazzling laser show, adds to the fest's charm.

NSUT's bi-annual cultural extravaganza, Resonanz, unfolds over three dynamic days. It serves as a platform for students to showcase their talents through a diverse range of events. Beyond the competitions, Resonanz nurtures camaraderie among students and embodies the vibrant spirit of NSUT's community. This cherished tradition is not only eagerly anticipated by students but also stands as a testament to the university's rich cultural heritage.
