Plot edit

The film begins with an adorable couple: Ravindra Babu, a great poet, and Padma, a classical dancer, who, despite their differences, are bonded in a celestial world of art. They reside alone on an island in the river Godavari. Once, a guy, Madhu, a young writer, approaches them, dedicating their life history when Ravindra spins back. Indeed, Ravindra holds high societal esteem, whose word is an ordinance in their village. He has a peculiar poetical mindset and knitted rustic Parvati. Though Ravindra loves her, she falls short of his attendance with her orthodox customs. Hence, there is an absence of suitable wavelength between them.

Meanwhile, Padma arrives at either side of Godavari, whom the public portrays as a prostitute, but she is an artist-personified woman. Here, Ravindra hears the allegations against her and seeks to consciousness of factuality. Whereat, he is enthralled by her dance, which awakes his restricted poet, for which Padma also reciprocates. Now, a remarkable artistic union arises between them. Anyhow, Ravindra faces the music that suffers Parvati. So, her sibling Jaganadham mortifies Padma and warns her to exit, which she does. Ergo, Ravindra rebukes, proclaiming that the two have an artistically soldering, which is sacred. Then, he goes into a traumatic state in a quest for Padma and explains his grief in poesy as Megha Sandesam. It summits high applause and felicitation on his honor.

Padma covertly visits it and listens to Ravindra bestow his credit on her. Spotting her, Parvati pleads to mingle with them, which she denies because of slander. Then, Ravindra inadvertently walks, beholding Padma, but misses her. Consequently, Parvati withdrew from her husband's life for his happiness. Thus, Ravindra wanders, turning into a lunatic. Being aware of it, Padma grieves and arranges for her consort to find his whereabouts and succeeds. Ravindra steps, and they unite. Parvati also lands therein but sets her foot back. Currently, Jaganadham invites Ravindra to his daughter's wedlock, though he is half-hearted but forward, as Padma said. Soon after the ceremony, Ravindra expresses regret to Parvati before returning when she admits it as her guilt. Thereby, Ravindra collapses and leaves his breath when Paravati affirms that they must give a call to Padma. At last, Jaganadham spots Padma, who has died, too. Finally, the movie ends with their funeral, showering the divine influence of inseparability.
