Kezsky District

Kezsky District (Russian: Ке́зский райо́н; Udmurt: Кез ёрос, Kez joros) is an administrative[1] and municipal[7] district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the republic. The area of the district is 2,321 square kilometers (896 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement) of Kez.[2] Population: 22,911 (2010 Census);[4] 26,446 (2002 Census);[9] 29,264 (1989 Census).[10] The population of Kez accounts for 48.4% of the district's total population.[4]
