Jacob Wallenberg (born 13 January 1956) is a Swedishbanker and industrialist, currently serving as a board member for multiple companies. The Guardian has once quoted him as the prince in Sweden's royal family of finance.[1]
Jacob Wallenberg was Chairman of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB)[2] from 1998 to 2005 and Vice Chairman from 2005 to 2014. He was CEO of the bank in 1997 and EVP and head of corporate and investment banking between 1995-1996. Wallenberg has been Vice Chairman of Atlas Copco, SAS Group, Stora Enso and served on the board of The Coca-Cola Company,[5]Electrolux, WM-data and Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
He is son of Peter Wallenberg Sr. and Suzanne Fleming, born Grevillius. In 1986 Wallenberg married Marie Wehtje, daughter of civil engineer Urban Wehtje of the Wehtje family, and Merete Wehtje, born Bylandt-Grøn in Denmark.[6] They have three children born 1988, 1989 and 1992. They divorced in 2008.[7] Since 2014, he is married to Annika Levin.[8][9]
