Yael Cohen Braun (néeCohen; born 4 November 1986) is a Canadian health activist.[1][2] The ex-wife of Scooter Braun, she is the founder of the organization "Fuck Cancer", a nonprofit charity.[3]
Cohen organized Fuck Cancer in 2009 after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.[8][9] Fuck Cancer encourages millennials to have a conversation about early cancer detection.[10] In 2016, Fuck Cancer collaborated with jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher to support cancer victims.[11][12]
Personal lifeedit
In 2013, Cohen began a relationship with music manager Scooter Braun. The pair got engaged in January 2014 and married on July 6, 2014 in Whistler, British Columbia.[13][14] They have three children.[15][16][17] She and Scooter Braun held a fundraiser for Kamala Harris during the 2020 Democratic primaries.[18] In July 2021, it was reported that the couple had separated.[19] The same month, Braun filed for divorce,[20] which was finalized in September 2022.[21]
