The village of Běchárky is an administrative part of Běchary.

Běchary is located about 14 kilometres (9 mi) south of Jičín and 59 km (37 mi) northeast of Prague. It lies on the border between the Central Elbe Table and Jičín Uplands. The highest point is at 260 m (850 ft) above sea level.
Historyedit
The first written mention of Běchary is from 1290. Before 1559, the village was part of the Kopidlno estate, then it was joined to the Staré Hrady estate. From 1609 until the establishment of an independent municipality in 1848, it belonged again to the Kopidlno estate.[2]
