Zavitinsky District
Zavitinsky District (Russian: Завити́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty in Amur Oblast, Russia. The area of the district is 3,286 square kilometers (1,269 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Zavitinsk.[2] Population: 15,970 (2010 Census);[4] 20,198 (2002 Census);[8] 29,637 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Zavitinsk accounts for 71.9% of the district's total population.[4]
