The original cast included David Garrick as Ranger, Roger Bridgewater as Strictland, Lacy Ryan as Frankly, William Havard as Bellamy, Henry Woodward as Jack Meggot, Hannah Pritchard as Clarinda, Elizabeth Vincent as Jacintha and Jane Hippisley as Lucetta.
