In the 2018 Asian Games, they won three out of four games in the group stage, only being defeated by India.[4] They lost the semi-finals to Iran, finishing with a bronze medal.
They have qualified for the 2022 Asian Games.[5] They won against South Korea in their first game, but suffered defeats against India and Chinese Taipei in subsequent games. Thus they finished at the fifth place, winning one out of three games.
