Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam
The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (transl. Tamil Nadu Victory Federation; abbr. TVK) is a political party in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry. It was founded by actor-turned-politician Vijay on 2 February 2024.[1]

On 26 June 2009, Vijay launched his fan club- Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, in Pudukkottai to carry out philanthropic activities one month after the decisive end of the Sri Lankan Civil War, the military subjugation of the Tamils on the island.[2][3] The organization supported the AIADMK-led alliance in the 2011 legislative assembly elections.[4]
