Steve Ives

Steve Ives is a serial entrepreneur in the information technology sector,^[1] active in Cambridge, England.^[2]

Biography

Ives founded Torus Systems in the 1980s and established Ives & Co. in 1989.^[1] He worked as VP Business Development for Qualcomm Europe until mid-2005.^[3][4] He founded Trigenix^{[1][4][5][6][7][8]} and social media company Taptu.^{[1][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]} He is also Chairman of Teamstudio^[8][10] (previously a wholly owned subsidiary of Ives & Co.).^[3][4][11]

Ives holds a master's degree in biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Fellow of London's Royal Society of Arts.^[3][4][8] He has presented at industry events including 3gsm and the GSM Association General Plenary^[3] and in 2011 addressed Connected Cambridge's "Entrepreneurs on the Move" networking event.^[12][13][14]

Steve is now working on Hoverkey,^[15] a mobile application security company based in London.
