Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology at Simon Fraser University

The Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology (FCAT) is a faculty at Simon Fraser University (SFU) in British Columbia, Canada. It comprises five schools and programs, over three SFU campuses: Burnaby, Vancouver, and Surrey.

The Faculty of Communication, Art and Technology was established in 2009.[citation needed]

Governance and locations edit

The Office of the Dean is located in the Burnaby Campus.[1]

The Dean of FCAT as of 2023 is Carman Neustaedter.[2]

Schools and programs in the Faculty are taught on all three SFU campuses: Burnaby, Vancouver, and Surrey.

As part of the Woodward's Building redevelopment,[3] this school has also been referred to as Woodward School for Contemporary Art.[4] It occupies five floors, with brand new spaces designed and built by HDR in association with Proscenium Architecture.[3]
