________________________________Second verse______________________________________________
In the year 1527, the Rajputs were defeated in the battle of Khanwa between the Rajputs and Babur. King Dham Dev of Fatehpur-Sikri lost everything in the war. He could not see any way. He started remembering his Kuldevi mother Kamakhya Devi. Mother Kamankhya ordered him in a dream to leave for Kashi and reside in Tapobhoomi with Vishwamitra and Jamdigna. By his order, Raja Dham Dev left for Kashi. members of their families with them, Priests, servants etc. were with them. He kept moving forward with everyone, at that time Cheru-King Shashank was ruling here, he was very cruel. King Dham Dev fought with them and defeated them and established hegemony at this place. Maa Kamakhya temple was established on the holy banks of Ganga near Sakradih and started living there. At that time the flow of the Ganga was near the mother's abode. Now the stream of Ganga has gone away from the temple. After conquering Sankaragarh, Raja Gham Dev made it his abode and the priests and scholars named this place Grihamar after the literal meaning of the name of Raja Gham Dev. Thus Gahmar was established. But due to language disorder, the name of Grihamar was changed to Gahmar. In ancient times, the name of Gahmar is also mentioned as Grihamar and Gahvan. The Ghazipur Gazetteer also mentions Grihamar. Some people believe that after the arrival of the British in India, the name of Grihamar became Gahmar under the language disorder. Themes of Gahmar's EstablishmentKing Gham Dev was moving forward with his companions. But there was a very rich forest at this place. When Gham Dev reached here, he saw the cat running away from the rats, so he felt that there is a miracle of divine power at this place. He put his camp here and thus Gahmar was established . This thing is not proved by history, it is said that before 1530, this area had developed a lot, due to which it was the kingdom of Cheru Raja. That's why there is no question of being a forest.

Chainpur
The area of Chainpur in Kaimur district of Bihar was historically ruled by Sikarwar Rajputs.[2] A document called the Kursinama purports to trace the ancestry of the Chainpur family to Fatehpur Sikri where the family was driven out during the Turkic Muslim ruler Babur's conquest , when he won battle of Khanwa.
As they fled eastwards under the leadership of Lakshmi Mal, they eventually conquered Chainpur from the Chero dynasty which was ruled by the Chero tribe.
Among the most important rulers of the Chainpur Sikarwars was Raja Salivahana who built Chainpur fort and was prominent in the region prior to the ascendancy of the Afghan warlord Sher Shah Suri.[1]
Role in 1857 uprising
Under the leadership of a local chieftain, Meghar Singh, many Sikarwars in Zamania in Ghazipur district of Eastern Uttar Pradesh and from Kaimur district of Bihar took part in the 1857 rebellion against British rule.[3][4]
Meghar Singh eventually accepted the leadership of Babu Amar Singh of Jagdishpur and the Sikarwars and the Ujjainiyas became allies. However, by November most of the rebels had surrendered and accepted British rule.[3]
