List of members of the European Parliament for the United Kingdom (2014–2019)

The 8th European Parliament was elected across the European Union in the late days of May 2014 for the 2014–2019 session. The United Kingdom was apportioned to send 73 out of the 751 Member of the European Parliament (MEPs) that are listed below.
Contribution of UK political parties within European Parliament political groupsedit
The UK had representation with 73 of the 751 seats of the European Parliament with party contributions within political groups as follows at time of dissolution:
^Aker was originally elected for UKIP but joined the Thurrock Independents by 9 December 2018 and then the Brexit Party in February 2019[1]
^Arnott was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in January 2018, and joined The Brexit Party in April 2019[2]
^Ashworth was originally elected for the Conservative Party but was expelled from the party in September 2018.[3] He sat (with fellow Conservatives) in the ECR group until February 2018 when he joined the EPP group
^Atkinson was elected for UKIP but was expelled from the party in 2015. She joined ENF in June 2015
^Bashir was originally elected for UKIP but joined the Conservative Party in January 2015
^Bours was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in November 2018
^Bullock was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in December 2018. In February 2019, he joined the Brexit Party.
^Carver was elected for UKIP but left the party in May 2018
^Coburn was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in December 2018
^Collins was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in April 2019[citation needed]
^Collins left EFDD to join ENF in January 2019, but rejoined EFDD in April 2019[4]
^The Earl of Dartmouth was originally elected for UKIP but resigned from the party in September 2018
^Etheridge was originally elected for UKIP but resigned from the party in October 2018, before joining the Libertarian Party and stating he would continue to be a member of EFDD[5]
^Farage was originally elected for UKIP but resigned from the party in December 2018
^Finch was originally elected for UKIP but joined The Brexit Party in April 2019[6]
^Gill was originally elected for UKIP but resigned from the party in December 2018[7]
^Girling was originally elected for the Conservative Party but was expelled from the party in September 2018.[8][9] She sat in the ECR group until February 2018 when she joined the EPP group.
^James was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in November 2016, and joined The Brexit Party in February 2019[10][11]
^Nuttall was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in December 2018[13] and joined the Brexit Party in February 2019 [14][15]
^O'Flynn was originally elected for UKIP but joined the SDP in November 2018
^Parker was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in April 2019[citation needed]
^Reid was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in December 2018[16] and joined the Brexit Party in February 2019
^Seymour was originally elected for UKIP but left the party in April 2019[citation needed]
