Kevin Lilliana
Kevin Lilliana Junaedy (born 5 January 1996) is a presenter and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss International 2017.[3][4][5] She is the first Indonesian woman to win Miss International, and is the first and only to win one of the four major international pageants for Indonesia.[6][7][8] Prior to winning Miss International, she was previously crowned as Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2017.[9][10]

Early life and career
Lilliana was born on 5 January 1996 in Bandung,[11] to a Chinese-Indonesian father Eddie Foe Junaedy[9][10] and Sundanese mother, Lina Yulianti.[12][13] Lilliana is the eldest of two siblings.[14] Graduating in 2017, she holds a bachelor's degree in interior design from the Faculty of Arts and Design of the Maranatha Christian University.[15][16][17][18]
On 2 February 2020, Lilliana married singer and entertainment producer Oskar Mahendra.[19] Mahendra has a daughter from a previous relationship.[20][21] On 21 October 2020, she gave birth to a daughter.[22][23]
Pageantry
Puteri Indonesia 2017
Lillian entered and won Puteri Indonesia West Java 2017,[24][25] subsequently competing in Puteri Indonesia 2017.[15] During finals night on 31 March 2017 held in Jakarta Convention Center, she won the title of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan. She also won Best Traditional Costume and was first runner-up for Miss Talent.[26][27][28]
Miss International 2017
As the winner of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2017, Lilliana got the chance to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2017. To prepare for her international competition, Lilliana stayed in the Philippines[29] for a considerable amount of time and trained under the tutelage of Kagandahang Flores[30][31] (KF, English: The Flores Beauties), where she learned and developed her pageant walk, runway walk, poise and bearing, and communication skills for the speech segment of the international pageant.[32][33] The Kagandahang Flores is a beauty academy in the Philippines known for training and molding beauty pageant aspirants and models.[34] Liliana was mentored under a holistic tutelage program for free by the Filipino founders of Kagandahang Flores.[35][36][37][38]
Lilliana represented Indonesia at Miss International 2017,[39][40][41] held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 14 November 2017, and was crowned at the end of the competition by her predecessor, Miss International 2016 Kylie Fausto Verzosa from the Philippines.[39][42][43][44] After her win, Lilliana formally expressed her gratitude to her Filipino pageant mentors and coaches from the Philippine camp Kagandahang Flores, especially to Rodgil Flores, the head of the beauty pageant training camp, for helping her prepare for and win the Miss International 2017 crown.[45]
In addition to winning the crown, she also won the "Miss Best Dresser" special award.[46][47][48] She wore a national costume called "Mbok Jamu Gendong and the Ancient Secret Potion" inspired by Indonesia's traditional herbal-medicine Jamu.[49][50][51] Her achievement also marked Indonesia's first win at one of the famed Big Four international beauty pageants.[52][53][54][55]
During the final speech round, each finalist was given the chance to express her plans if crowned Miss International, and share her personal advocacies.[56][57] Lilliana's speech read:
Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, Indonesia's national motto that means 'Unity in Diversity'. Indonesia is one of the few countries that has such a diversity of cultures, languages and beliefs. That is why I am a big believer in unity in diversity. This world is a beautiful place because of its wide variety, not similarities, and if I become Miss International I will spread these positive values and spread the culture of accepting and respecting differences, because I know that every country has their own cultures, character and identities. Therefore, let's create a perfect solution by learning, understand and appreciating each other.[56][57]
On 9 November 2018, she crowned her successor Mariem Velazco from Venezuela as Miss International 2018 in Tokyo, Japan. She finished her reign at 11 months, 3 weeks, and 5 days.[58]
