KRG Studios is a film production and distribution company based in Bengaluru. It primarily deals with the production and distribution of Kannada-language and non-Kannada films across Karnataka.^[1]

Background

KRG Studios was established by Karthik Gowda,^[2] Executive Producer of Hombale Films in June 2017 and has been distributing films across Karnataka. It has distributed 80+ films, past over years. In the year 2020, KRG Studios reported another endeavour, KRG Connects (Movie Marketing Unit).^[3][4]

Furthermore, they ventured into film production with Rathnan Prapancha, a film starring Dhananjay and directed by Rohit Padaki. ^[5][6]

Following their success of Rathnan Prapancha on Amazon Prime Video, they produced Gurudev Hoysala, which was released on March 30, 2023, which was critically acclaimed.^[7]

Uttarakanda,^[8] is announced as the next production venture by KRG Studios. It is to be directed by Rohit Padaki with Dhananjaya and Ramya as leads.^[9] This is the one of the most anticipated Kannada cinema, since it marks the return of Ramya.^[10]
