The municipality has a population of 9,338 (26 October 2023)[2] and covers an area of 427.39 square kilometres (165.02 sq mi) of which 69.55 km2 (26.85 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 26.1 inhabitants per square kilometre (68/sq mi). Its seat is in Parola.
