He was nominated for the Gawad Urian Best Actor award in 1987 for the movie Takaw Tukso. His other notable films includes' Sabik... Kasalanan Ba? (1986), Ginto Sa Putikan (1987), and Virginia P. (1989) starring Alma Moreno, Joey Marquez, Richard Gomez and Alice Dixson.
