The group first gained nationwide exposure when their first single, Kirai Tune (キライチューン), was used as the ending theme for the popular Japanese anime series Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. Subsequently, they received worldwide exposure (albeit to a much lesser extent) when the series became syndicated for worldwide distribution.

Since then, the group has released a number of singles and albums, but currently remain critically acclaimed, yet without commercial success on the Japanese pop charts.

The main bassist, Shūsaku Satō left the group on September 30, 2005 and joined Kelun. The main drummer, Shingo Ōta left the group on June 18, 2009.

On August 25, 2013, the group disbanded with a live performance at Shimokitazawa Club Que.
