Dream Girl 2
Dream Girl 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures.[1] The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Dream Girl.[2] It stars an ensemble cast of Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh and Seema Pahwa.[3][4]

Principal photography began in August 2022 and ended in March 2023. It is scheduled to be released theatrically on 25 August 2023.[5]
Premise
Karam, a small-town boy from Mathura, is struggling every day to pay his father's debt, who has borrowed money from nearly everyone on the planet. On the other hand, he is deeply in love with Pari, whose father has kept the conditions to marry her. To make ends meet, Karam poses as Pooja, which creates wild chaos and a comedy of errors.

Music
The music of the film is composed by Meet Bros and Tanishk Bagchi while background score is composed by Hitesh Sonik. The first single titled "Dil Ka Telephone 2.0" was released on 10 August 2023. The second single titled "Naach" was released on 16 August 2023.

Release
In September 2022, it was announced that the film was scheduled to release in theatres on 29 June 2023, which was later preponed by a week to 23 June 2023.[7][8] Later the release date was changed to 7 July 2023.[9] On 24 April 2023, the film got a new release date which is 25 August 2023.[10]
