History

The co-ed school was established on 20 August 1992 in collaboration with the public sector undertaking of the Rourkela Steel Plant of the Steel Authority of India Limited. They provided 13 acres of land and assistance. The school was functioning first in Sector-18 and in 2004 it was shifted to Sector-14, Rourkela.^{[citation needed]}

• The school has 3,300 students^{[clarification needed]} from kindergarten (nursery), classes I to XII, with science, commerce and humanities at the senior secondary level
