Cricket will be one of the 37 sports to be played at the 2022 Asian Games to be held in Hangzhou, China.[1] Both men's and women's Twenty20 International tournaments will be held. Prior to this edition, cricket was last played at the Asian Games in 2014. The Asian Games were originally planned to take place in September 2022, but were later postponed by one year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fifteen men's teams and nine women's teams will take part. The teams were seeded based on ICC T20I Ranking as of 1st June 2023.[2][3][4][5]
