Carlos Méndez (baseball)
Carlos Alberto Méndez Castillo (born June 18, 1974) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman/designated hitter and right-handed batter. Méndez played for the Baltimore Orioles in 2003.

Most recently, Méndez played in the Atlanta Braves farm system in 2007, playing 82 games for the Richmond Braves. He is currently the hitting coach for the AAA Gwinnett Stripers.
