Can't Buy Me Love (2023 TV series)
Can't Buy Me Love is a Philippine romantic drama television series broadcast by Kapamilya Channel. Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, Cathy Garcia-Sampana, and Ian D. Loreños, it stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.[1] The series premiered on the network's Primetime Bida evening block on October 16, 2023, replacing The Iron Heart.[2]

Timeslot change edit
While Senior High concluded, on January 22, 2024, the series moved to a later timeslot at 9:30 PM to give away for Linlang.
Music edit
The theme song of the series is a 2023 version of "You'll Be Safe Here" performed by Moira Dela Torre.[6] The re-recorded version of the song by a former member of Rivermaya, Rico Blanco, have also appeared in the series.
Release edit
The series is streaming advanced episodes first on Netflix on October 13, 2023 and on iWantTFC on October 14, 2023, before its release on other platforms on October 16, 2023, consisting of 150 episodes. As of March 25, 2024, Can't Buy Me Love is reduced to 148 episodes due to the observance of Holy Week.[7][8]
From November 5, 2023 until February 9, 2024, the show's episodes will not be shown on A2Z on Wednesdays and Fridays to give way to the 2023–24 PBA season, the program will continue to air on Kapamilya Channel and TV5. [9]

Can't Buy Me Love was a success upon its premiere, garnering 454,413 concurrent live viewers on YouTube.[10] The series also soared as the No. 1 most watched show on Netflix Philippines.[11] According to Kantar Media, the series received a TV ratings of 11.6%, beating its timeslot rival Love Before Sunrise (9.7%).[12] According to AGB Neilsen, the pilot episode of the series generated 8.0% over its rival Love Before Sunrise with 7.1%.[13][14]
