Schetino scored his first goal as a professional on 29 March 2015, but in a 1–2 home loss against River Plate.[3] He added another on 6 June, in a 3–0 home win against Cerro.

In November 2015, Schetino agreed to a move to Fiorentina for a fee of €3.5 million.[4] He signed a contract with Viola on 22 January 2016,[5] being loaned to Livorno six days later.[6]
