Wei Yaxin (Chinese: 魏雅欣; born 18 April 2000) is a Chinese badminton player.^[3] She affiliates with the Hunan team.^[2]

Career

Wei started her career on the Changsa badminton team, and later joined the Hunan provincial team in 2013.^[2]

Wei began the 2018 season as the finalists in the girls' singles event at the Dutch Junior Grand Prix.^[2] Wei was the champion at the 2019 Polish Open by beating Germany's Yvonne Li in 3 games.^[4] Apart from that, she has won medals in various other International events as well, including bronze medals at the Asian and the World Junior Championships.^[5][6]

In 2023, she helped the national team win the Asia Mixed Team Championships.^[7] She also won her first World Tour title at the Swiss Open with Jiang Zhenbang.^[8]
