After getting the club to Division 1 of Kantō Soccer League, the club changed their name to Tokyo United Football Club in 2016.[2] They also featured a female team, Bunkyo LB Ladies.[3]
On 2021, they merged with Tokyo Musashino City to form current Japan Football League club Tokyo Musashino United. The existing Tokyo United team became Musashino's reserve team.
