During filming, Buddy Noonan and his wife Ginger Noonan[3] traveled with their children throughout the United States, including Hawaii,[4] and also on location in Mexico.[5] The series featured ghost towns, national monuments, state parks, tourist attractions, and state historical sites. The series was shot on 16 mm film.
