The Goldens' self-titled debut album was released by Epic Records in 1987.[2] Two singles from the album, Put Us Together Again and Sorry Girls charted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.[1] The Goldens moved to Capitol/SBK Records for the release of their second album, Rush for Gold, in 1990.[2] The album produced three charting singles and videos, 'Take Me Back To The Country', 'Keep The Faith', and 'Long Gone'.[1] Since disbanding, Rusty has released three solo albums and continues to write songs. Chris joined The Oak Ridge Boys band as drummer from 1996-2014, and has also played drums with Alabama and Restless Heart. Chris returned to the spotlight in 2014, releasing seven solo albums garnering eight number one songs in the country gospel field. Chris also produced and released award winning videos, and won numerous awards in the Inspirational Country Music field. During the pandemic, the brothers reunited, and along with father William Lee Golden and Chris's three children, recorded 3 albums as William Lee Golden & The Goldens. They started touring as a family again in 2022, along with an all-star band.
