Shmuel Kaminetsky

Shmuel Kaminetsky (born 1965) is an Israel-born rabbi and has been the rabbi of Dnipro and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast since 1990.[1]

Shmuel Kaminetsky's parents emigrated from the USSR to Israel due to religious persecution in 1946. Kaminetsky was born in Kfar Chabad, Israel, in 1965.

From 1978 to 1981, he studied at the yeshiva of the city of Lod. In 1981, he came to the USA to study with the Lubavitcher Rebbe, graduated from the "Rabbinical College of America" (Rabbinical College of America) in Morristown, New Jersey. He continued his education and taught at the yeshiva for the Rebbe's messengers in the city of New Haven, Connecticut. In 1988, he received a laugh (the rank of rabbi) at the Eastern Parkview Yeshiva 770.

In 1989, he married Hanna Lipsker. Rabbi Shmuel and Hanna Kaminetsky raise six daughters and three sons. Envoy of the Lubavitch Rebbe to Dnipro since 1990.[2] Elected chief rabbi of Dnipro and the region, under him the largest Jewish community center in the world - "Menorah" - was built in the regional center.[3][4] Awarded the medal "For services to the city of Dnipropetrovsk". Founder of the Shiurei Tora Lyubavych charitable foundation.

"Focus" magazine listed him as an agent of foreign influence. He believes that true Jewish identity[5] and Ukrainian nationalism can not only be combined, but also complement each other, and this should be an example for many.[6]

He offered to take Ihor Kolomoyskyi as bail.[7]
