Rice City Matriculation Higher Secondary School is a school in Aduthurai with 2800 students and 100 teachers. It is situated near Aduthurai railway station.
• About Rice City
In the year of 1972 our institution was born with the name of Crescent Nursery School with just 26 students; with the prime initiative to bring quality and world-class English medium education to rural people in and around Aduthurai by our founder Late. Haji M.A. Jamal Gani .
We strived to provide quality education and knowledge which was an unattainable fruit at those times in the villages. People around us saw the honesty and dedication we put in, to provide knowledge and we grew together. With constant support of our parents and the people around we became bigger and transformed into Rice City Matriculation School at 1997.
As we know the significance of all round development and discipline of students, we create a harmonious environment to help students achieve their maximum potential.
Through constant guidance and help from our teachers , we help students achieve academic excellence and co -curricular merits .
We believe students should understand humane, cultural and ethical values to lead life as a spirited model citizen so we foster and nurse our children to be a morally, academically, extra curricularly acclaimed person.

This school is a contrivance of my father Late.Haji M.A. Jamal Gani, who inspired to give quality education to rural students. Following his path we are running this institution with utmost dedication and dignity. Our aim is to provide quality education to all the students irrespective of their religion, caste, creed and social standards. In addition to our academic education we strive hard to help them achieve their goals in every field by encouraging their co curricular activities and sports involvement.
I personally thank my team of staff who are thinking and working with their complete commitment to make these raw gems into polished diamonds.

The right balance of academics and co-curricular activities facilitate the development of multiple intelligences, honing the talent and intellect, and thus fostering all round development. At the very outset, I am extremely happy to mention here, that our institution’s Motto in education is primarily inculcate the quality of inquisitiveness which encourages the children to break the mundane and bring the best out of them, thus making them ready to face the challenges of the world.
