Machine translation, like DeepL or Google Translate, is a useful starting point for translations, but translators must revise errors as necessary and confirm that the translation is accurate, rather than simply copy-pasting machine-translated text into the English Wikipedia.
Do not translate text that appears unreliable or low-quality. If possible, verify the text with references provided in the foreign-language article.
You must provide copyright attribution in the edit summary accompanying your translation by providing an interlanguage link to the source of your translation. Momtaz Uddin (February 1946 – 6 June 2003) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician who served as a member of Jatiya Sangsad representing the Natore-1 constituency.[1] He was the senior vice president of the district Awami League.[2] He was a member of Mukti Bahini in the Bangladesh Liberation war in 1971, commander in chief of Lalpur.
On 6 June 2003, local Natore police stated that a band of 10 armed men interrupted Uddin's motorcycle at Darpara on the Goapalpur-Abdulpur Road in Natore and stabbed him to death.[1][3]
On 13 March 2013, a speedy trial tribunal in Rajshahi sentenced nine people to life in prison for killing Uddin.[2]
