Her first love was dancing (and majorette parades)[3] when, at the age of 12, the series Glee awakened her desire to sing.
In 2014, Mentissa joined the cast of The Voice Kids in Belgium. It was her first time taking part in a television show.[3] She won the TV talent show on 24 October, as a part of Team Natalia Druyts.
In October 2021, she joined the label Tôt ou Tard.[2] The airplay of the song "Et Bam" on radio launched her career. Her first album, La Vingtaine, was released on 18 November 2022.[4]
Mentissa opened for Vianney at the Olympia on 24, 25 and 26 November 2022 and embarked on her first tour in February 2023.[5]
