Mary Russell (actress)

Mary Russell (born Mary Marcia Kalbach; April 22, 1912 – August 22, 2005) was an American actress in the 1930s who appeared in Western films and serials. She was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa and died in San Rafael, California.[1] Despite a short film career from 1934 to 1938, Russell had parts in thirty films including the Westerns The Big Show and Riders of the Whistling Skull (1937). In the latter, she was the female lead alongside The Three Mesquiteers.[2]
