Location

This station was built as part of the 2.3-mile (3.7 km) Southeast Rail Extension to RidgeGate, which began in 2016 and cost $223 million. It opened on May 17, 2019.[4][1]

The station sits in greenfield land that is planned to host a transit-oriented development that is connected between the three stations. The 400-acre (160 ha) Lone Tree City Center, for which the station is named, is planned to include 10,000 homes, office space, and parks.[5] The development project was approved in 2018 and is planned to take decades to finish.[6]
