Kimfly Alpin

The Kimfly Alpin (Alpine) is a Slovenian single-place paraglider that was designed in collaboration with Michaël Nessler and was produced by Kimfly of Vodice. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development edit

The Alpin was designed as a mountain descent glider. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres.[1]

Alpin 24
Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 10.6 m (34.8 ft) span wing has a wing area of 24.2 m2 (260 sq ft), 39 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 55 to 85 kg (121 to 187 lb). The glider model is Slovenian certified.[1]
Alpin 27
Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 11.2 m (36.7 ft) span wing has a wing area of 27.3 m2 (294 sq ft), 39 cells and the aspect ratio is 4.6:1. The pilot weight range is 65 to 95 kg (143 to 209 lb). The glider model is Slovenian certified.[1]
