George Delaney (born 4 February 2004) is a professional rugby league footballer who is from Widnes, Cheshire. He plays as a prop for St Helens who signed him after he impressed at amateur side, Haton Farnworth Hornets (Heritage № 1276) in the Betfred Super League.
Delaney made his first team début for Saints in April 2022 against the Castleford Tigers.[2] Delaney played 18 games for St Helens in the 2023 Super League season as the club finished third on the table. He played in St Helens narrow loss against the Catalans Dragons in the semi-final which stopped them reaching a fifth successive grand final.[3]
