Elijah Everett

Elijah David Everett is a German-born Welsh chess player. Although not holding any FIDE titles, he has a peak rating of 2233, above the rating requirement for a Candidate Master.[2]

Chess career edit

In June 2018, Everett won a bronze individual medal in the NATO Team Chess Championship.[3][4]

In September 2019, he won the NATO Chess Championship.[5][6] In December 2019, he transferred federations from Germany to Wales.

In December 2022, Everett competed in the World Rapid and Blitz Chess Championships. In the Rapid championship, he achieved wins against Endrit Uruci, Ergali Suleimen, and Niilo Man Nissinen.

Personal life edit

Everett is also a language teacher, teaching English, German, and Welsh.[7]
