Ed Cavanaugh

Ed Cavanaugh (born August 24, 1928) is a former American football player and coach. He was the head coach at Idaho State University in Pocatello from 1968 through 1971,[1] and at the United States Military Academy from 1980 to 1982, compiling a career college football record of 30–40–2 (.431).

Cavanaugh played college football at Duke University; he was a guard and graduated in 1951.[1]

In his third season at Idaho State in 1970, the university opened the indoor Minidome (now Holt Arena).
