Bibriti Chatterjee

Bibriti Chatterjee is an Indian actress and model who works predominantly in Bengali films.^[1][2]

Early life

Bibriti Chatterjee was born in Kolkata, West Bengal. She did her primary education in Kolkata and then attended high school at a boarding school in Rajasthan.^[3]

Career

After her notable appearance as Aiyyara Chapla in the TV series Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta (2017), she debuted in the Bengali film Byomkesh Gotro (2018).^[4] This was followed by two seasons of the comedy webseries Oh! Mother (2018), where she played the role of Diya, which was well received.^[5][6] She then starred in the critically acclaimed Ebhabei Golpo Hok (2020).^[7][8] The film won the 2021 Dada Saheb Palke Award.^[9] Her much awaited release, the experimental Bhotbhoti (2023),^[10][11] known for its visual effects,^[12] received unfavourable reviews. However, her performance was applauded.^[13][14]
