Bestiaire

Bestiaire is a 2012 Canadian-French avant-garde nature documentary film directed by Denis Côté.[2] The film centers on how humans and animals observe each other.[3]

It was filmed at Parc Safari in Hemmingford, Quebec,[3] and had its world premiere at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.[4] It was also shown at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival.[5]

The film was nominated for the Jutra Award for Best Documentary Film at the 15th Jutra Awards,[6] and the Rogers Best Canadian Film Award at the Toronto Film Critics Association Awards 2012.[7]

Release edit

Bestiaire was released theatrically on April 6, 2012[2] and played in a single theater in Paris, France.[8] FunFilm Distribution released Bestiaire on DVD on December 4, 2012.[2]
