However, Shapiro was elected governorin 2022 and resigned as Attorney General upon being sworn in.[2][3]Michelle Henry was confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Senate on March 8, 2023 to serve out the remainder of Shapiro's term, and has indicated she will not seek election to a full term.[4]
